About Sichuan International Studies University
Founded in 1950,Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) is located in Shapingpa District and is a full-time regular undergraduate university. It aims to cultivate high quality foreign language-related fields. It is the most important research center of foreign languages and cultures, foreign trade and business, and international relations in Southwest China.At present the university has 36 academic departments and subordinate colleges, 2 independent colleges. It offers undergraduate degrees in 36 programs, 36 master degree programs, and 11doctor degree in foreign language education. It offers 11 foreign language courses. It is engaged in education on different levels and in different forms, embracing post-graduate education, undergraduate education, international student education and continuing education.Inter-college exchanges have been establishes between SISU and about 80 universities around the world.
